Status: early access. Gpaynow Card API v2 is a planned virtual card API that will let businesses issue prepaid Visa and Mastercard virtual cards from their own app, funded by a USD balance topped up with stablecoins. No card issuer is connected yet, API keys and webhooks are not available, and no payment is taken until your access is approved.
Card API v2 is being built so you can offer prepaid cards in your app while we handle the issuing partner, the networks and the money movement. Features below are planned and may change before launch.
Planned: create a cardholder, issue a card and load it from your backend in one flow.
Planned: top up your USD balance with stablecoins such as USDT or USDC for a flat $1 per top-up.
Planned: daily, monthly and per-purchase limits, plus freeze, unfreeze and close.
Planned: signed events when a card is issued, funded, used or declined.
Planned: checkout codes delivered by webhook so you can show them in your app, subject to the issuing partner.
Apple Pay and Google Pay support will depend on the issuing partner and card product. Not guaranteed.
Tell us about your project. We review every request and keep approved early-access members updated as Card API v2 is built.
A test environment with simulated money is planned before launch. Preview the draft developer docs.
Complete business verification (KYB) and choose your plan. No payment is taken until your access is approved.

Card API v2 is in early access, and no card issuer is connected yet. At launch, cards will be issued on the Visa and Mastercard networks by a licensed card-issuing partner. Gpaynow is not the card issuer, and neither are API clients. Every program will need business verification (KYB), and every cardholder will need identity checks (KYC) before a live card is issued.

A virtual card API lets a business create and manage virtual payment cards from its own software instead of a dashboard. Gpaynow Card API v2 is planned to let you create cardholders, issue prepaid Visa and Mastercard virtual cards, fund them, set spending limits, freeze or close them, and receive webhooks. It is in early access and not live yet.
